To state the beginnings, in the year 1946 William Rosenburg founded Industrial Luncheon Services, a company that served meals to workers in the Boston area. Since Luncheon Services was such a great success, RosenBurg began a doughnut shop in Massachusetts by the name of Open Kettle which later began to be known as Dunkin Donuts. What began just like a sale of doughnuts slowly moved into muffins, bagels, coffees and fruit drinks with franchisees in over 50 countries.
